There is nothing more daunting than knowing that you have to deal with the legal system in some way or another. In every aspect of law the stakes are high. You should always have a good lawyer when you are dealing with any aspect of the legal system. Moreover you should always have a local lawyer represent you. So if you live in the Bay Area, you should have a local Bay Area lawyer that lives and practices in the Bay Area and not some other community.
This is not to say that a lawyer that is not from the Bay Area could not do a competent job. I think hating to loose is the most important characteristic of a good lawyer. Whatever winning really means. Who knows. But, all I know is i want my lawyer to take my case personally and not play games with me.
I would have to agree. I would rather have a lawyer with a killer instinct than one that wants to settle the case at the first sign of difficulty.
Now winning at all cost is not what I am looking for.
Yeah, you definitely need a lawyer who hates loosing. When your bags, clothes, shoelaces, etc. all become loose, it really stinks, you know?
I hope I find a lawyer who hates losing. And bad spelling.
